Renowned Pakistani actor Qavi Khan passed away in Canada at age of 80

Muhammad Qavi Khan was a renowned Pakistani actor who made significant contributions to the Pakistani entertainment industry. He was born on November 15, 1948, in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

Khan began his acting career in the 1960s and appeared in his first film, "Hasil," in 1972. He has since acted in over 200 films, including both Urdu and Punjabi language films, and has worked with many famous Pakistani actors and actresses. Some of his notable films include "Khuda Ke Liye," "Ishq Khuda," and "Sultanat."

In addition to his work in films, Khan has also acted in various Pakistani TV dramas, including "Dhoop Kinare," "Ankahi," and "Sipahi Maqbool Hussain." He has also directed a few TV dramas and films, including "Nasoor" and "Sabaq."

Throughout his career, Khan has been recognized for his contributions to the Pakistani entertainment industry. Arts Council Karachi President Muhammad Ahmad Shah confirmed late on Sunday that renowned actor Qavi Khan passed away in Canada, where he received treatment at age of 80.
